Terry Michaels did tell me that removing the blocking caps from the first
ADAT would DC couple it. Using the ADAT light pipe you could access 8
channels of 16 bit DC coupled CV.
But there is no "high resolution" data type recognized by Reason or other
softsynth (that I am aware of?).
What would be needed is a background software bridge that would read the
ADAT lightpipe channels and spoof the data into any music application.
I am sure that MAX could be configured to do this, but we are up to the cost
of an ADAT + MAX = beyond cost of young DJ or student.
Bridging the gap between computers and control voltage could widen the
popularity of our favorite hobby?
