[sdiy] adding dinsync

I have just finished modding my dr110, and now I'm looking for another drum machine to add to my collection. I figgured that you could pretty easily add dinsync to say a 505, (or pretty much any thing with a tempo knob) because it would just generate a pluse train and then the CPU would respond to that...
 
dos any one have any idea if the 505 (or any thing else that might be of interiest) is 12/24 ppqn?
