Yo,
I think what you want to do is to put the 100 ohm
resistor in the feedback path of the opamp. That way
under normal conditions the Vdrop of the resistor is
compensated, but in a short-circuit condition the
output is limited by the 100 ohm. You could then
increase the R so that it actually protects the opamp
under all conditions.
