[sdiy] 1/8th inch questions

Yep.
I do it like this:
First jack (left most) of a row of 4 is the input.
All the input jacks are switched types.
When no plug is inserted the internal switch connects to the input jack
above it.

Result:
The signal on a input is also available on the outputs of all rows below it.
That is until the next row with a plug inserted in the input, then the game
starts all over again.

Hope I put it clear enough, its really easy to DIY.
