Don,
First off I got the Linear Tech regulators wrong. They are the
LT1085/LT1033.
Keep in mind that these are 'audiophile quality' regulators and are low
current. About 100 ma. Some people go as far as having a regulator on each
op-amp. They are 'variations on a theme' of Sulzer regulators which were
discussed in Audio Amateur. The design goals for them were low noise, high
line rejection and low output impedance.
