Hi all
This is my first post to the list.
For years I built lots of electronic projects, (mostly designed
by others, just a few by myself) and this is my first attempt to
build a synth. The idea of building a synth and make my own music
with it was the original mistake that changed my life 18...20 years
ago and switched me from a promising nice future to the electronics.
Maybe this is not exactly the best time to do an investment, specially
in the place where I live but the Earth turned the Sun enough and I am
with the 'original sin' in the head again but this time with enough
electronic experience. Simply I can't let it go this time.
I'm convinced that build a modular will be a very enjoyable experience
as it was with all my other projects.
Some [un]useful data about me and my project:
Name: Fabio Gonzalez
Nickname: eqys
Location: Posadas, Argentina
Proposed name for the 'creature': eqys-p
Proj. time: long
Proj. N#: 271
Char: public
Objectives: modular, non-portable (I dont need it), analog,
1V/oct CV, fully patcheable, PCB slot pre-patch option,
6x of all (VCx/Env/etc), 3chord keyboard/guitar-string controlled,
and... as cheap as possible (unfortunatly required)
I'll post the progress at http://www.geocities.com/eqys/eqys-p/
(this section is not available yet, it will be after Jan/2003)
All credits will be given to those I'll use as a dev. base.
If I really "invent something new" it will be post as public domain.
I can't promise regularity.
I promise, yes not to post messages of this kind again, just
consider this as a personal introduction, a (very rare) polite
action of my part ;)
Thanks to all people in advance
PS. Yes, my English is terrible and uneducated (but it is bigger
and stronger than me... and I can't control it :)
