My main argument against Doepfer always was "low quality", not hate.
Here's an old message to the list of some guy who apparently has
a lot of things to say against Doepfer products, but still nothing
against a certain midi-to-key-contact device (scroll down to the
end):
http://www.buchi.de/SDIY/ShowPost.ASP?14176
This refers to some discarded product - apparently there's a new version
of it now. From a pragmatic point of view, if a product has no potentiometers
and jacks at all, it cannot have scratchy potentiometers or intermittent
jacks either. (;->)
