Well, been fighting to keep my little section of the diy world going,
and, as luck would have it, things have come to a head within the past
month---

Lost job; absolutely NO prospects for another one (even Best Buy won't
hire me, overqual'd)

Started going fulltime for my BSEE again (er, why don't they TELL you
returning to school when you are 32 is absolute hell on earth BEFORE
you start!?!?)

Refinanced my house in hopes of keeping it (those hopes are seeming a
bit higher than first thought) and contemplating giving up one of the
leased cars early.

So, to streamline my life, I am de-netting myself completely for a
while.. Email will be answered, but no new jobs will be taken..

Anyone that has outstanding work being done by me will get it pretty
much on time.

After that, nothing else will even be contemplated until after this
semester while I try to salvage these crappy grades I have been
getting in Calc, Chem, and C progging (the evil triad of failure they
call it) even after 6 weeks of all-nighters, study sessions, help
sessions, tutoring sessions, the grades are not increasing. On the
contrary, they are getting worse and I am panicking.

If this doesn't work, I will be thrown out of school for lack of
progress. But, I have one thing to look forward to:

A new and exciting carreer of CRIME! ;) Er, or maybe politics.. Hey,
whats the difference! :)~

BTW, anyone know of any mental helper drugs, legal preferably? I am
not joking btw, since I know in other countries they have some things
that have shown some promise and I am looking for every bit of edge I
can get..

Anyway, obviously, all that stuff about "diligence and hard work" only
helps 90% of the world, I guess I am that other 10% they don't talk
about.

Anyway, have fun ppl, you have all been great to me. :)
