[sdiy] decaves?

I was just curious as to whether or not anybody had ever heard (or heard of)
dividing octaves into 10 semitones (evenly spaced).
I'm guessing it wouldn't sound very musical most of the time, but I'm still
curious.

I guess if i wanted to try it (assuming I was smart, and had access to the
kind of gear you need to erase and write to eproms) would it be possible to
get a paia midi2cv working in "decaves" (and just ignore 2 notes per octave
from the controller)?
