Could be true, but I have many other bits of gear (including digital) which would make up the mix.

And, yes it's meant to be a general (read "all") purpose VCA, so could be used for FM.

BTW, I blame the MOTM VCO I just bought for making me obsessed with accurate tempco ;-)
