Well, seems like you blowed up something large, scary, and
electro-mechanical. And you blowed it up good too!
Looks like you've got a fine Voltage to Smoke Converter (VSC) going there.
I've made several of the electronic variety myself. Funny, it's such a
common circuit, yet no specifications or standards exist... Maybe IEEE can
get around to it next year.
