[sdiy] I'm an idiot, right?

I may not have been clear (not the first time, I know)

I understand that in most instances, the supply taps of CMOS read as VDD (+
end of supply) and Vss (ground).

the 4050 however has it supply pins labeled Vcc and Vss.

I am assuming then that Vss is ground and Vss is + voltage.

yes??

(I have it the other way around currently and it ain't workin' !)
