I have started to build the digital (patch storage) part for the PolyKorg
Clone:

There is one thing that might be of general interest. We had a discussion
about
"Radio Button" function with a priority encoder on this list some months
ago. Here's a solution with two CMOS chips and one pnp for 8 radio Buttons:
http://www.oldcrows.net/~jhaible/polykorg/jh_3200_digital_1.gif
There are two of these circuits, providing 3 bits for Bank Adress,
and 3 bits for Patch Number Adress.

The other new circuit is only for crazy people like myself, who don't
want to write software. A simple state machine and adress counter
for controlling the MUX / DEMUX and ADC / EEPROM / DAC
Write / Read operations:

Circuits are tested so far, but no converters or muxes connected yet.

JH.

PS.: Yes, the 40106 is a HCF from ST, powered with 15V.
        No surprise. (;->)
