Now I am really surprised.
I had trouble with these many years ago, when I used them for the
Oberheim 4-Voice key assigner, until I checked the data sheets
back then, read 6.5V maximum, replaced them with Motorola parts
and eveything was working.
But yes, you are right, there it is, 20 volts !
This is excellent news, because then I might have a lot more
usable CMOS chips than I thought, and the HCF4068 even has the
extra AND output!
Thanks for pointing this out, and sorry for the misinformation.
Now I really wonder what happened here. It's unlikely
that ST would have switched (back) to a larger structure technology.
It's more likely that I have rejected these chips with no reason
over many years ...
