Then you can look for the original Moog circuit it was cloned from and build it
from scratch....

My take is that the string would not be active in the 'open' (unfretted) position...
it would hold whenever you released a string.

Plucking the string would not necessarily limit the sustain time... it could just be
like Midi Velocty... a voltage that is produced one time, when you pluck the string.

Of course you can do any damn thing ;^P
