[sdiy] Oberheim OB-Mx PSU question

I don't remember the one I had in for repair humming that loudly. But
things can get loose over time.

Oddly I just replaced a power transformer in an Oberheim Xpander for
loud humming. I like the sound of giving it a good squeeze, but mostly
its easier to oik the old one out and replace with a nice new one.

I have a horrible Prophet VS here right now though with all sorts of
problems. But its not designed to work at 240V either. This one is
cooking. The rear panel exceeds 85C after its been on for about three
minutes... I may have to take steps to cool this one down a bit.
