That is a good price for a one off.
Try pricing it through a normal CNC punch/paint or anodize/silkscreen
process.
Wiard faceplates are $40 MY cost (2.8 x 10.5).
Large faceplate can easily be $200 in PRODUCTION quantities.
Now you know why the painted black panel/white ink plan is so popular. It's
the least expensive method for a very expensive process.
BTW each additional color on a faceplate doubles your scrap rate for
silkscreening.
