Hi all

This a repost because apparently my previous messages did not come
through.

Concerning the Beat indicator thread, I have in my archive an old
article describing a simple beat indicator based on the apparent rotation
of LEDs. Since the scan of this document is of poor quality I reedited
as a PDF file that I attach to this message.
