No, I only have te plastic pieces and the main pins attached to the pcb terminal. Nothing that looks like a paperclip.

So these paperclip thingo's are called sockets?

Thanks
Eduardo

Do you have the individual sockets? I assume that you are using the ones with square pins. The matching individual sockets are flat and folded in to a loop similar to a paper clip. It is best to use a Molex tool to crimp the sockets to the wires. They just push and lock into the nylon housing. That's it.

  Pet peeve:
Some refer to the nylon connector used to power internal computer peripherals as a Molex connector. Sure looks like an AMP Mate-n-lock to me.

  Take care,
  John

    Hey Gang,

I got some 4 pin molex connectors to get my power distribution scheme in order, but I seem to be missing something. What do you put on the wires to get them fixed into the connector? It seems that this missing piece will also make the connectors grip the pins more than they do now.

    Thanks

    Eduardo
