[sdiy] mobile phones

I don't know any details of the mp3 format, but I'm guessing it's
requirements for memory and processing are considerably more demanding
than running a bunch of MIDI notes past some look-up wavetable kind of
thing. Thus I suspect hearing a mobile phone playing *any* piece of
music is some way off. That said, if you have just shelled out 450
pounds sterling (gulp!) for the top-flight Nokia (that's the 7650, the
one with the built-in camera), when it rings and plays some snappy tune,
you're damn well gonna let it ring a little longer so that everyone else
around you knows it!!!!
