I am an instructor at Renton Technical College.
You may find the cost of ITT unreasonably high. Check out ALL of the
Technical and Junior Colleges in your area. RTC charges about $750 per
quarter and is rated as one of the highest quality schools in the nation.
Ask the school for placement statistics. How many are placed? What type of
work are they doing? How much are they paid? Schools are required to keep
and share this information.
You may find a program that includes analog or a program that includes
independent studies. But, you will need to talk to program deans and
instructors. People in registration will not necessarily know the facts and
details.
Students in my progam have ranged from 16 years old (Running Start from high
school) to 69 years young. You could wait another 10 years and then finish
when you are 50.
Take care,
John
