[sdiy] Slightly OT: really loud but light weight speakers

sounds like a job for piezo horns..., very light, and very loud, also cheap
and small.  The only problems i can think of are that they tend to be very
directional, you'd have to throw together something to help spread out the
sound, that and although they really excel in high ranges but you can't
expect too much mid out of them.
There's a place here that sells surplus stuff they used to have really rad
motorola horns for 5$ (canadian) each.
