It isn't new. I did exactly this, about 7 years ago, as a presentation
at a music school. I used 4 dot matrix printers: baritone (the bigger),
tenor, alto and soprano (the smallest). Bzzz, bzzz, bziiiing...

It was funny - not only the piece, but looking at the smiling
audience...    :-)
