Y-ellow Y'all.
         Sorry for the general broadcast to the list like this but I've 
just got back after over a week of downtime and noticed that a number of 
people have sent me mail. Of which I won't get time to answer for another 
few days at least.

Thanks to those consummate bollock fondlers at "the Telstra corporation" my 
net connection got taken out. Followed shortly by this computer it self 
being taken out. (Or the networking thereof.)

This saga has been going on for about a month and I'm not entirely sure 
it's fixed now. After a week or so of pricking around I'm finally starting 
to rebuild the system from scratch (or near enough too) and it'll be a few 
more days before I'm in any kind of condition to get on top of things. 
Probably months before I'm back up to speed.

THANKYA TELSTRA!

Telstra aren't even my ISP BTW. They're just incompetent. But because they 
rule the copper between here and my ISP they can try and make my ISP look 
bad from time to time. Really they don't have to try. Their general 
incompetence does the job.

Anyway that's the short version. If you're really unlucky I might expound 
on this latest little nightmare later. In the mean time. Hang in there and 
I'll respond as soon as I can.
