Dear Chris (and snthDIYers),
Sorry to say I don't have any of the Curtis chips. But there are companies
that deal in IC fabrication on a custom basis (I don't know what the proper name
of this business is). Although it's expensive, and large minimum quantities are
required, what if a lot of interested parties "chipped" in to have some of these
discontinued parts made? The dies (or whatever they use) must still be in
existance somewhere. Wouldn't it be fantastic to be able to have these things
available again? It certainly has happened in the audio tube world, why not with
music synth ICs? I'd certainly cast my lot for it.
