Hello guys,

I've been on the list for about five years now, but my life is rapidly
changing in many ways, and I have decided to drop out of the group - at least
for a while. Who knows, maybe I'll be right back... or maybe not. I'm
certainly not bored with the list, it's just that I need to simplify my life
a bit, and mailing lists can be a huge time suck, so I'm going to find out
what life without them is like. I think that this list is still the absolute
best mailing list on the net, and I'm sure that it will remain so, long after
I've gone. You guys can still reach me via email if you need to, or if you
just want to say hi.

Anyway, I just wanted to say a proper goodbye, and give great big thanks to
everybody here. It's the people on the list that make it great, and I'd like
to send out an especially big wave of gratitude to these fine people (in no
particular order): Harry Bissell, Juergen Haible, Tony Clark, Tony Allgood,
Rene Schmitz, Marjan Urekar, Paul Schreiber, Paul Maddox, John Blacet, Trevor
Page, Ken Stone, Don Till, Mark Verbos, Colin Fraser, Terry Bowman, Terry
Michaels, Michael Buchstaller, Magnus Danielson, Martin Czech, Grant Richter,
Jim Johnson, Edu Silva, Peter Snow, John L. Marshall, Jeff R. Dec, Larry
Hendry, Scott Gravenhorst, Jim Patchell, Scott Bernardi, Ian Fritz, Chris
Hoaglin, Theo Hogers, Toby Paddock, Peter Ullrich, Dave Magnuson, Steven
Thomas, Kevin Seward, James Husted, Tom Gamble, Christopher List, Romeo Fahl,
Christopher Rider (the Old Crow), and at least twenty others who I can't
remember right at this moment. You guys are the best!

Happy trails,
Michael Bacich
