AHA, sorry, I forgot, I *still* use kvec to then take the DXF from
wintopo and convert it to HPGL. ;)

I know,  I know, its complex, but it does work. ;)

There are a few other easier to use utilities that will do it too.

I went ahead and sent this to the list because its prlly a general
thought to most also.

So, to recap:

Raster Image format > Wintopo > save as DXF > open DXF into KVEC >
convert from DXF to HPGL

Try that.
