[sdiy] Multi and attenuators.....modular

So I'm looking at a FracRak ear and realize that there is room for some
jacks, etc in one vertical row. They would actually mount on the side
panel that attaches to back of the ear, with clearance/access holes in
the ear itself. Or a small PCB might be nice.

I see three jacks as a multi and an IN jack, OUT jack and pot for the
attenuator. The multi would be normalled to the IN jack, which would
give you a 4X multi with one attenuated OUT if nothing was plugged in
the IN jack.

Plus, if you "misuse" the OUT as an "IN", then it looks like you have an
attenuator with three outs....penalty being a low input impedance with
the pot wiper near ground. 1K resistor might be good idea.

Useful? More ideas?

Regards,
