[sdiy] PAIA 9700

I built just the MIDI>CV converter from Paia and it was very easy so I am
assuming the rest of the 9700 series is too. I am currently working on
the ASM1 and am finding it to be challenging. There are a lot of design
desisions that go into it since it dosn't specify what controlls to use,
what values of pots to use, doesn't come with all the parts(so you have to
hunt them down), dosn't come with an enclosure, and dosn't come with a
front panel. These issues may not be problems for you if you have more
experience then I do or if you don't mind spending LOTS of time
researching and thinking about it. All of these combined make me think
the 9700 is better for a first effort( not to mention I'm having
difficulty getting some of my ASM1 to work and don't have a manufacturer
that I can send it off to)

Good luck to you!

Sincerly,

Josh Randall
