[sdiy] Micromoog from hell!

 actually, replacing the psu in the multi/micro can be a great improvement...I replaced a crippled psu in a multi with your standard 78/79 regulator psu, it worked a treat!

I have seen many of these poor things in BAD shape. Cats especially
really love to use the MicroMoog for a impromptue litter box..nasty 
creatures!

thats not always a bad thing- Ive always found it much faster to remove the 
IC's and use a multi-meter to check each pin to make sure it has been 
soldered nicely and also make sure it isnt over-soldered shorting to a pin 
next to it.

Lucky one there!! Those damn + - 15v tracking IC chips are getting to be 
REAL tough and expensive to find!!!! Unless anyone knows of a good source?
