[sdiy] Micromoog from hell!

Well, just wanted to relay the sad sad story of a Micromoog I am
trying to repair for someone.

Okay, this poor Micromoog has been pretty much around the entire
country in various states of broken-ness.

I finally get it, and I notice that the VCO isn't getting any CV, the
Env gen doesn't work, and the filter is not passing any signal.

So, you might ask, can it get any worse? ;)

Well, the VCA and S&H seem fine. HAhah!!

I just feel sorry for the thing. :)

I believe I will find many of these aweful slide switches to be at
least partially the culprits.

Well, someone in their infinite wisdom decided to go ahead and socket
and replace all the ICs in the thing too. Ugh. I can only guess I will
find solder joints under the sockets..

"Yeah, it must be those bug looking things. "

At least the powersupply is still good.
