Back in January while attending NAMM I had a friend drive me to the Van
Nuys store. The place would be right at home at the Dayton Hamvention.
I saw a number of nifty items ($3.00 motorized sliders, $1.00 "guess the
Alesis product the PCB came from," etc.) I rummaged through the boxes of
61 and 76-note Fatar keyboard actions. All of them were busted in some
fashion, but they didn't seem to mind my building a couple of 'good'
keyboards by sacrificing one of the really banged-up unit's springs and
keys. The 61-note key action is destined for a Prophet-5. No idea what to
do with the 76-note one yet. (no, not selling it ;)
