Hello!
Last week a musician who is a friend of mine asked me to add a "zapp" sound to
my 808 clone (which is still waiting for a frontpanel)
What he wanted is done by sweeping a sinus tone from very high to very low
really fast :-)
I tried around some design ideas and finally did this :

i think it's a real simple circuit for this kind of sound (of course you can do
this sound with your modular too - my 808 just had some spare space inside)
Perhaps you miss a VCA in the schematic : the XR2206 idles at ca. 1 Hz - the
(second order) highpass filter cuts this to a few milivolts.
A bit of LoFi design - i know - But it works just fine :-)
