[sdiy] OT need Japanese transistors

hi all,

I am repairing my buddie's early 80s era power amp and cannot find the power 
transistors anywhere. the only place I've found that even has them listed is 
Audio Lab: http://www.datadart.com/commercesql/index.cgi
unfortunately they are discontinued and not in stock.

the part numbers are:

2SC3546
2SA1389

after searching, and searching, and searching, the best I could come up with 
is the specs for the 2SC3546. this is helpfull though because it enables me 
to find an alternate part. however, these transistors have an unusual case 
style so an alternate device may require machining the heatsink (to much 
work). any help is appreciated.
