I hate to say it, but Fatar are one of the few companies making keyboards today.  Off the top of my head, Yamaha also makes their own.  My understanding is that the two of them own the patents needed to make keyboards.

The only people I know who have ever bought the Yamaha keyboards are Korg.  Almost everyone else uses the Fatar, though they often negotiate for special features & quality improvements, especially over the cheap ones that end up with the Fatar name on them.  The better ones offer aftertouch sensors, velocity response and various degrees of key weights...if those are to your taste.
