[sdiy] Howto merge 2 MIDI streams?

Possible solutions:

a, two cheap soundcards, merge MIDI datas with software like Hubi's 
loopback ( http://members.magnet.at/hubwin/midi.html )
b, hw MIDI merger, buy or build :) : http://www.ucapps.de/midimerger.html
