Perhaps pentodes can do this, I could not get triodes
or diodes to go down that low. They jept going into
cutoff and getting real noisy.

I found a very old circuit for a noise limiter. It
used pentodes as varaible capacitors!! Ic conjunction
with inductors, a VCLPF was made. With the high
impedances involved, this is a possibility.
