I was thinking of something along the lines of a multi-adapter box
(which could be what john's referring to). Get a sturdy project box
and put a couple female BNC's on it, one to connect the box to the
frequency counter, one in case you decide to measure something with a
BNC after all) Then add every other connector you think you could
possibly end up having to work with. (RCA, 1/8, 1/4, F, SMA etc,
whatever you like) Now you've got an adapter box that's completely
flexible, needs no small adapters that can get lost, eliminates the
mechanical problems inherent in stacked adapters and flexing cables,
and can be placed at any needed distance from the counter using a
garden variety BNC cable with two males on it.
