[sdiy] OT: how can i make bakelite?

well, only marginally sdiy related...
but i would like to make a bakelite cabinet for a
small compliment of modules, maybe lunchbox size.

ive had no luck finding information online, and in
fact many contradictory ingredients, but no solid
recipes.  im assuming bakelite manufacturing is highly
poisonous, so id like to go into this with at least a
fair idea of what im doing.

any leads as to info, or other help would be greatly
appreciated!  thanks!
