  Hm, glad I got my CS-80 MIDI kit when I did.  Now all that remains is 
convincing myself that all the bodgery needed to install it is worthwhile.  
(Solder 17 wires directly to the pins of the key assigner?  I am NOT going 
to do this, sorry!  I'll find a less-risky method).
