Ah well, you got me. The 4416 has been replaced. My collaborator on the
project, Jim, made the discovery that you can use a CD4016 to replace it.
The only catch is that you have to invert pins 5&6 (controls B&C). Once
you do this, it is exactly the same - pinout and all.
