[sdiy] Getting over eBay (rant)

I started DIY going to dick smith's all the time, which seemed pretty cool to 
me at the time,   then I came back to the states and went to radio shack...

let's just say, it's no Dick Smith.....  although I think DS has been 
shrinking their electronics sections, as RS did, only now RS is getting rid 
of them all together.

catalog order is great, but walking into a store and having all sorts of 
things right there just can't be beat.
