I agree...but what are you going to make the music with if you haven't
built the gear yet? This is, after all, a list for building synths,
not playing them (after all, it's rather hard to play a synth via
e-mail, isn't it) And 90% of an instruments features that make it
enjoyable to play and versatile are due to the engineering behind it.
Take the tremolo on my guitar for instance, or the action..if you get
them wrong, the instrument sucks to play. (damn floyd rose, impossible
to tune)
