Dear all,
quite by chance I find myself in possession of a couple of panels
made by Kanwal(?) Dulay. One is a quad state variable filter
utilising SSM2040s, the other is a quad VCO module utilising
CEM3340s. They seem to be based on the Digisound designs
and I think were made in 1980/81.
Does anyone have any info about these modules or Mr Dulay
purely for my own interest in their history. I wouldn't mind
knowing what sort of setup they were in, if they were used
in any recordings/studios and indeed if there are VCA, ADSR
LFO panels about that once may have accompanied these
panels. Indeed if Mr Dulay is out there it would be great to
hear from you about these modules. Maybe someone has
pictures?
There is a (poor) picture on my website of the VC SVF on my
website, I will put better ones up soon, with pics of the quad
VCO panel. They are unfortunately knobless now as I got them
and I am not sure whether to restore them or get some
Schaeffer panels done for them.
Any info appreciated.
regards...
Keith
