i've started 'refurbishing' an old pioneer valve amp by replacing all the
elecrolytic caps (the machine is prolly 40 odd years old). its got one of
those 4 in 1 electros, but the previous thread got me sorted on that. but in
the meantime there are these parts which look like ceramic caps, but they've
got 3 or more leads. they're are rectangular with a lead coming out of each
bottom corner and the others in between. 3 leads ones have different
markings:

AC9619
AC9617
AC7002

the 5 lead one marked:

AR 7004

All have the leads marked 1..n (n being the number of leads) and nichicon
marked on them (i know nichicon make caps).

are these like the 4 in 1 electros, or are these something else?

also, some of the screws for the cover are missing, but seem of a wierd
thread, and i cant find matching ones. any ideas?

to try and keep it on topic, i originally got the amp (for AU$50, it's valve
but hardly hifi, sounds good when overdriven) with the plan of building a
spring reverb but havent got that far yet. anyone got any better ideas?
