Oops, forgot to mention that, last time I checked,
Unicorn Electronics still has the LM13600 for $1.49 a
pop.  Check it out.  They have the LM13700 marked as
discontinued by manufacturer, but I think the mark
should go on the 13600.

Also, credit card orders get free shipping (that's
probably why it takes longer).

As for packaging and 1% metal film resistors, Newark is
hard to beat.

And, I probably should thank a lot more of you out
there as well, all of the DIY sites I've run across
seem to have something unique and useful to offer.  I
want to incorporate all of them into my synth.  I guess
I'll have to get a bigger house.  Those of you I've
bugged already, thanks a lot, and those of you I
haven't bugged yet, thanks in advance :-).
