Oh, no yellow polka-dot bikini??

Yeah, I know them chaps.  I've used them quite a bit in the past, and
they're fine.  As for soldering, just be quick.  Anyway, just about all
resistors change value due to soldering anyways (it depends on what the
resistors are made of, and how long you keep the heat on).
