Yeah. He actually says that. His other projects look kinda interesting too.
A real time guitar effects processor being one. But he says he's always
looking for ways to improve things. I was thinking that I could hardly wait
for these palmtops to be going out cheap. A few years yet I suspect but
it'd make a nice little hand held LRC meter.

Don't get me wrong. I thought it was cute. And he certainly gets my vote.
Certainly deserves a chocolate frog or two. I would never have thought of
doing this in any language. Even if he didn't attempt speaking like yoda,
he's a jedi in my book. I would have happily spent days trying to decipher
it. This is exactly the kind of thing that is possible these days using
junk computer bits for nix. And basically it only requires the addition of
a resistor and some probes. Sure it's not instrument grade but for the cost
of an old computer and sound card it's 99% of the way there. And I don't
know of any instrument that tells you all this on one go. Certainly not on
this side of wealthy.

This is almost literally something for nothing. And nothing beats that.
There should be a Nobel prize for stuff like this.

OK. I'm all out of superlatives now. I'll go away.

Be absolutely Icebox.
