Yes, Keykit can do that..
You connect a BANG tool to say the Kboom pattern sequencer, and it
will toggle it on/off when you hit a midi note specified in the BANG
menu.
Its not real intuitive, but its doable..
Also, in Logic, you can use touchtracks to program events trigd by
midi.
Word to the wise: you *always* want to quantize your input to either
Keykit OR to whatever else you use, since sometimes the response to
your midi note is not what you would think. ;)
Quantize to at *least* 16th notes, better for prlly 8th notes.
So, in summation:
Logic - Touchtracks
Keykit - BANG tool, connected to module
Opcode - Assign key to track play trigger in Midi menu IIRC
Ableton Live - Yes, but how?
Softstep - Yes but how?
Max - Yes but how?
Alien Disko Device - I think so, but how?
AFAIK, this is a list of *all* the ones that can do that.
