Hi list,

Sorry for the OT.

I would like to know how many people are NOT using either of the following
to browse the web: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or above, a recent
version of NetScape, or a recent version of Mozilla. So, if you're using
something old (eg NetScape 4.x) or different (such as Opera) it would be
great if you could let me know.

I'd like to know because some of my new synth webpages use plenty of CSS
level 2 stuff (style sheets, DIVs, etc). While this is fine with the
browsers mentioned above, other browsers or older versions of above might
not render the pages properly. So right now I am trying to decide whether to
scrap them and reluctantly go back to using only basic html for my pages, or
keep them tarty as they are. So it would be cool to know how many people are
NOT using the regular MS IE / NS etc.

I know that browser stats are available from various sources, but I suspect
the stats could be a little different amoungst the synth-DIY community (lots
of tech-heads who don't like M$ etc!)

Replies are probably best being off-list - if anyone else is interested in
the stats I get, I'll gladly share them.
